| Advanced Earth Sciences professionals provided remedial
investigation, design and remedial action implementation services for
the former Golden Eagle Refinery site remediation project. Services
included detailed engineering design and construction specifications of
the vapor extraction and bioremediation treatment system; a
comprehensive quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program; site-
specific construction quality and health and safety program;
comprehensive environmental sampling program; risk-based cleanup
assessments; soil excavation; and soil and groundwater remediation.
Three underground storage tanks (USTs) and 23 above ground fuel
tanks at the site were investigated. The work included drilling 83 soil
borings, 57 exploratory trenches and sampling of 15 groundwater
monitoring wells for this 76-acre site. |
